A Tradition
The Brother Martin shield is divided into four quadrants by the Cross of Christ. Upper left is a heart which represents the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. The Fleur de Lis lower left represents the French heritage of the city. Lower right, a torch symbolizes striving for excellence while the book upper right represents learning in the fullest sense.
